Welcome to TechZen.shop! These terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to your access and use of TechZen.shop (the “Website”), owned and operated by Cytech Systems Ltd. (“Company”). By accessing or using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the Website.

  1. General

1.1 The Website provides an online marketplace for IT hardware and software.

1.2 The Company may modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the Website after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

1.3 The Company may, at its sole discretion, refuse service to anyone at any time.

  1. Products

2.1 The Website offers new and refurbished IT hardware and software for sale.

2.2 All prices on the Website are in Mauritian rupees and are subject to change without notice.

2.3 The Company reserves the right to limit the quantity of any product that you may purchase.

  1. Payment

3.1 Payment for products must be made at the time of purchase.

3.2 Payment may be made by cash, credit card, debit card, or bank transfer.

3.3 Credit may be available through CIM Finance. A procedure for credit application is available on request.

  1. Delivery

4.1 The Company will deliver products to the address you provide at the time of purchase.

4.2 The Company will make every effort to deliver products within the estimated delivery time. However, the Company does not guarantee delivery dates or times.

4.3 The Company is not responsible for any delay in delivery caused by events beyond its control.

4.4 The Company is not responsible for any loss or damage that occurs after delivery of the product.

  1. Warranty

5.1 New IT hardware is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, which may range from 1 year to 5 years. The terms of the manufacturer’s warranty will be provided with the product.

5.2 Refurbished IT hardware is covered by a 6-month warranty, except for laptop batteries and adapters, which are not covered.

5.3 The Company will repair or replace any product that is covered by a warranty, subject to the terms and conditions of the warranty.

  1. Limitation of Liability

6.1 The Company is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of the Website or the products sold on the Website.

6.2 The total liability of the Company to you for any and all claims arising out of or in connection with the use of the Website or the products sold on the Website shall not exceed the purchase price of the product in question.

  1. Governing Law

7.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Mauritius.

7.2 Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mauritius.

  1. Returns

8.1 Return Policy – Defective Products Only

TechZen accepts returns only for products that are confirmed to be defective upon delivery or on first use.

Eligible Returns (Defective Products):
Defects must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

The product must be returned in its original condition with all accessories, manuals, and packaging intact.

TechZen will assess the product to confirm the defect before issuing a replacement, repair, or refund.

If no defect is found, the return will be rejected and the product returned to the customer.

Non-Eligible Returns:
Returns due to change of mind, incorrect model selection, or buyer’s remorse will not be accepted.

Products with signs of misuse, damage, software modification, or wear and tear are not eligible.

Digital goods, software licenses, special orders, and customized items are non-returnable.

8.2 Exchange Policy – Strict Conditions Apply
TechZen may accept exchanges in limited circumstances, subject to the following:

Request must be made within 3 calendar days of delivery.

Product must be unused, in brand new condition, and in sealed, original packaging.

Exchanges are only allowed for equal or higher value items.

Approval is at the sole discretion of TechZen.

A 15% restocking fee may apply.

Exchanges will be denied if the product shows any signs of use, damage, activation, or has missing items.

8.3 Return/Exchange Process
All return or exchange requests must be pre-approved. Contact us via phone or email before sending any item.

Products sent without approval will be rejected and returned.

Customers are responsible for shipping the item back unless TechZen delivered the wrong or faulty item.
